The Howard Johnson Inn Oceanfront in Ocean City, Maryland, is a seasonal hotel open May 1 through September. Reservations for the 2011 season are now being taken. The Howard Johnson Oceanfront Inn offers vacationers a variety of options to enhance their stay. Our 5-story oceanfront hotel is located on the famous Ocean City Boardwalk overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Bike rentals are easily accessible and for the sun lovers, the beach is right outside our front door. On the bayside, the town hosts a number of water sport activities for all ages. There is wind surfing, jet skiing, sailing, and parasailing for the highly adventurous. The Jolly Roger Amusement Park has games, rides, miniature golf and activities for all ages, and is just a few blocks away. Outlet shopping is also just a few minutes away. Ocean City is the White Marlin Capital of the world. Fishing boats from charters to head boats are plentiful and equipped with experienced crew to ensure a good time . It was in a nice location to the boardwalk.No Internet. Call for front desk about hookup of a x box no response.Overall the hotel is not that bad. The room was tight in space.

The view! The staff was very friendly.A little dated.It was a nice family experience. The restaurant was a little small but the help made up for that. But what can be bad waking up looking out over the Ocean.

Being close to the beach & the boardwalk.Smell of smoke in the rooms.We were in town for a bachelorette party and had a wonderful time @ the Howard Johnson. We loved having the pool, the hot tub, and the convenience of the Satellite Coffee Shop. We would definitely stay there again.
