Staff was very friendly, location was a plus for anyone traveling to the area of Orono and Old Town. This is my second stay and I will stay there in the future. The hotel is less than a mile from the University of Maine.

A beautifully trimmed lobby for the holidays.
1st night, stained carpet, ceiling tiles, mismatched floor tiles bathroom faded/curtain hooks missing dead TV batteries.
The king-sized room was in bad shape, although very clean. The following night we slept in a double bed double which was a bit newer. Floors very creaky in rooms and hallway. Lobby nice, continental breakfast ok, staff very friendly.

The price is too high for the conditions you are staying in.
I paid more to stay at this creepy outdated hotel/motel than it would of cost to stay at a Days Inn, ect. a more up to date hotel with amenities such as a pool, coffee maker in the room. Too expensive for the conditions....
