I thought the staff was great! And over all it was good experience.
I thought the food, room service and drinks were over priced. The pools needed serious cleaning. I've stayed at Tan-Tar - A several times before. Usually stayed in the Estates. This was our first time in the hotel. It was kept clean and the beds were comfortable. Still needed a little updating, but all in all, for a Hotel, it was very nice. The staff...Read More

Rooms are getting worn. Hotel is fine - the room in the estates was worn - needs updating.

Staff was very friendly, pool was very clean, and great view of the lake.
Attractions were too expensive and nothing was open due to season even though it was before labor day. My husband requested champagne and strawberries. They brought it up even though they don't usually do that. The thing that was bad was the cruise boat was closed until the next weekend. Summer wasn't over but the hotel acted like it was.
