It was very run down and deserted.They were in a "remodeling" phase but it looked like the construction just stopped and never began again. At least the staff was truthful about the fights and the vet not being safe.Dirty, unmaintained, 2 out or 6 flood lights in parking not working. Housekeeping did a nice job.Internet was out, no ashtrays in the smoking roomette sac.Would not stay here again. Its location is out of the way on one way streets. The location was close to relatives.Worst hotel I¿ve ever stayed at.Nothing went right, first room no heat, second room bathroom door would not close, amenities describe didn't work or were not there at all. Complained to hotel staff and they didn't care, complained to the Ramada web site with no results.

Jessica at the front desk was wonderful. Because they didn't give us the doubles, we were given two rooms.Hotel seems to be in need of many repairs. Manager didn't know how to help desk clerk!I would suggest that the managers know how all operations work within the hotel. The girls at the desk were put in a terrible position. N/AThe hotel was NASTY. Ceiling tiles falling in, buckets on floor catching water, flies in pool. DIRTY.Ramada should pull its branding from this place! Friendly and helpful staff.Dirty carpets in dining area and room.20 years ago this was probably the best hotel in Owensboro. Today it needs a lot of TLC to bring it back to Ramada standards. We will not return there for another stay.

The breakfast.Hotel staff....There is a Bar located next to the Ramada. The parking was absurd, you could not find a place to park due to the traffic the bar was getting.
