Location Description:
Ideally located in the traditional centre of Porto, 250 meters away from Metro station Trindade, and steps away from pedestrian Rua Santa Catarina the main shopping zone. In this street one can find 2 shopping malls - Via Catarina and Porto Gran Plaza - as well as street shops of the major fashion brands. The principal theatres of Porto, such as Coliseu, Rivoli and S. Joao are within walking distance of the Hotel, as are several monuments and the typical market Bolhao. Also nearby the Avenida dos Aliados is still the heart of the finantial services in the city, with the major Banks and Insurance companies. The old city Ribeira - Unesco World Heritage site - with the Douro River cruises boarding quay, Bars and Typical Restaurants is just a 15 minutes walk through the city centre. On the opposite bank of the river, the Port Wine Cellars offer visits and tasting of this famous wine.
