Inside one may find typical paintings known as "frescos" from the XVI Century, which embellish the arches and walls. Open Monday to Saturday from 1300 to 2400. LOS AZULEJOS RESTAURANT In this restaurant with a view to the beautiful patio of the Novices one may enjoy a delicious breakfast and typical dishes from the Mexican cuisine, including the outstanding "poblano" specialities. Its walls are covered with the traditional "talavera" tile, specially the impressive kitchen that has been maintained as intact as possible in relation to how it was originally found. Open every day from 0700 to 2400. LAS NOVICIAS BAR It is located to one side of the main entrance and displays a magnificent mural on one of its walls. The bar itself is a balcony that dates back to the XII Century, brought all the way from India. It is a stupendous place with live music, to relax while you enjoy your favorite drink. Open Sunday to Wednesday from 1200 to 0100, and Thursday to Saturday from 1200 to 0200.

Extremely rock-hard beds, which caused me neck problems while there and continuing, don't try enjoying its public patios with your own bottle of wine.
