Hotel Description:
Welcome to the Holiday Inn Raleigh - Brownstone Downtown , a Raleigh tradition. Whether you are visiting for business at North Carolina State University(2 blocks), the Research Triangle Park(8 miles), the new Raleigh Convention Center and downtown Business District(1 mile) , or you're here for a leisurely stay to attend an event at the RBC Center, Time Warner Pavilion at Walnut Creek, Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts, state fairgrounds , or a visit to one of our three museums in downtown Raleigh (Art, Science, History), we can offer you the best balance of location, convenience, and value. With features like Tempur-pedic beds, complimentary street-level parking, complimentary high-speed Internet, a 24-hour fitness center, business center, and a full service restaurant and bar, we have all of you need to insure a pleasant stay. Best of all, you can walk to more than 30 different restaurants and nearly 100 shops at Cameron Village(a historic, upscale, outdoor walking mall) which is just three blocks from the hotel. Come see why Raleigh was again listed as "One of the best cities to live and work in" by Forbes Magazine in 2008, and why the Holiday Inn Brownstone is the best place to stay to be in the center of it all., Who says you have to sacrifice quality for a great deal on a beautiful room? For a limited time, we are offering a great package deal to help stimulate the economy! Rese

Friendly helpful staff, quick to offer help (one person only had to be gently, verbally prodded, but finally responded very appropriately). Room was clean and cozy.

small bath.
A large older hotel with good accommodations but with dated furniture, non operating fan in bath, noisy fan in room, and limited amenities. It is due the update that other Holiday Inns are undergoing.
