Rancho Viejo Resort and Country Club- one of Texas original and most prestigious golfing resort and meetings destinations- is located in the beautiful lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas- convenient to Harlingen- Brownsville and South Padre Island. The new World Birding Center is within 2 miles of the resort and we are convenient to major malls- historic sites and museums- the world-famous Gladys Porter Zoo- shopping in Mexico and the beaches of South Padre Island. Choose to stay in one- two or three-bedroom Villa Suites- all with full kitchens- dining and living areas- breakfast nook- two tvs and separate bed and private baths. Individual Resort Rooms2 dbl. beds are located on either side of the center suites and have private entrances and connecting doors to the center Villa unit. Over 71/2 miles of resaca waterways- ancient tributaries of the Rio Grande River- wind through the courses and Villas. The Town of Rancho Viejo is a quiet village built around the club and resort and has miles of quiet roadways for walking or riding. The club and resort covers almost 2-000 acres of historic land that dates back to the Spanish Land Grant.2
