For the price, it was a good, clean, and quiet stay.No restaurant in the hotel.It is a clean, older motel that gives access to downtown Ruidoso and Ruidoso Downs.

Convenient to location I was attending.Exterior very unkempt - a great deal of trash surrounding the parking areas and tree lines.Definitely a 1 star, if that, hotel. While the room was tidy- the towels and bedding were not as clean as could have been - the hard surfaces (i.e. countertops) were not wiped down/cleaned well. Nothing!I paid for 4 adults, at check in; I was charged an additional $15 plus tax. Accommodations were below average. We will not return.I was disappointed with this hotel. I expected better accommodations for the price I paid. Canyon creek lodge, now there is a simply yet clean and pleasant stay. Unfortunately there were no vacancies. I will plan ahead next visit and stay there.
