Guest Ratings & Reviews for TOWN AND COUNTRY RESORT SAN DIEGO:

Cleanliness: 7.2 - Staff: 5.1 - Location: 8.2

Overall Rating:
The grounds were beautiful, and the hotel was centrally located.
The room was teeny, old, and had stains on the carpet.
The rooms are very small, and to me it felt like they were built in the 1950's and not updated since. The grounds, however, are very pretty. There are plenty of dining choices, and a Starbucks is on property. A definite plus!

Love the location and the tropical setting. Also the fact that it is a S.D. classic.
Elevators and area around were a little dirty. Also hated paying $14 extra for parking!
Nice hotel, beautiful and a
convenient setting. Clean, quiet rooms. Be ready to pay $14. for parking.

They charge for parking, which was not aware of, parking should be included.
The hotel is very nice to stay out and the rooms are very clean and beautiful, like a victoran style room. Parking charges need to be made known, that its not included in your costs for your room.

Overall Rating:
Location.
Small mediocre room.
The Town and Country was quite underwhelming. Room decor was dated, we were in an ugly tower not close to the supposedly attractive grounds.

Overall Rating:
Lobby was clean.
Room was outdated.
Not worth what I paid for.

Overall Rating:
Big, with a mall next to it.
The rooms need to be remodeled.
The hotel is very large, right off the freeway, most rooms don't have a good view, & only a few have a balcony. It is old and really needs some remodeling.

Location.
OLD, terrible furnishings, mildew smell, no elevators in sections with multi-floors.
I used to live in SD and have been to this hotels spa but I would not stay at the hotel again. It definitely needs room renovations, furnishings and wallpaper are really bad , bathroom tiny, no elevators in our section and we had to drag the luggage upsta...Read More

The room and its location were very private.
The front lobby staff at check in were rude.
The room was very nice and spacious. The Charlies resturant was not good at all.

The beautiful, peaceful gardens.
The toilet that did not work.
The perfect spot for a girls' get away for my daughter and granddaughter. My granddaughter loved the many pools and exploring the grounds. One problem - after 2 calls, the non-functioning toilet still did not work. The manager was sorry and gave us breakf...Read More

I loved the location of the hotel to the MTS. I loved that it was really close to a shopping center and the free way.
I didn't like the nominal fee for wireless connection.
This is an excellent hotel. It is for everyone. Business travelers and romantic getaways. The pool is heated so if it is ever cold, then you can still go swimming. The staff is really friendly.

Please be patient while we process your request.
