Close to a great restaurant.
Lack of heat to the rooms during certain hours.Popular with travelers from overseas. Check in staff nearly charged me again for the room and didn't seem concerned. I was pleased there were no roaches or bed bugs!The front desk is not manned 24/7.This was a great place to stay, nice and cozy and friendly, too! I had no problems with anything! Free coffee! Internet access! Nice and quaint and well kept! Clean too!

Coffee/tea always available.Stupid neighbor yelling every night.The Edwardian is clean and comfortable. I had a relaxing stay. When I complained about a noisy neighbor staff took care of it. Right near Hayes Valley there are plenty of restaurants, shopping, etc. nearby. Well worth the price.

Location and friendly staff.Decoration and cleanliness.Great location, efforts were made to get above that one star but to no gain. Friendly staff was a plus.

Location was near van ness Muni station.I did not have a bathroom in my room and the shared facilities were poor.Perhaps this style of hotel is fine in Europe, but I did not expect these conditions when I booked the hotel. There was no mention that I would not have a bathroom in my room, and the bedding/linen seemed quite old and used.

The location of the hotel was more or less convenient.The parking lot for the hotel was 2 blocks away and you have to pay extra $20.00 a day for the parking.All the rooms in the hotel are very small, with no space to put luggage, and with no closet space.
