Location Description: City, Downtown - Near Union Square and Financial District
Area Information -Located in Union Square the center for the city's finest retail shopping, dining, theater and entertainment-Two blocks from the Powell Street Cable Car Line which travels to Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, and Ghirardelli Square-Walking distance to China
The Prescott may have been OK in its day. The room was tiny and loud. The restaurant was only open for breakfast ( under renovation the rest of the day/eve) and the wait staff was not well trained. There really was no lobby or place to make a quiet call.

Awful - you should not recommend until they renovate! Mold in the grout in the showers, peeling wallpaper on the walls. Musty,<BR/>old smell-ugh!

The staff was very friendly and the beds were very comfortable.
The rooms are very small. Mildew in shower area. Hotel's website is misleading as to what rooms look like. No pool.
