The staff was wonderful. They went out of their way to be friendly & helpful without forcing it.The pool towels were very tiny. Smaller than the room bath towels!The breakfast was better than the hotel across the street per friends that were staying at the Best Western. No in house restaurant opens yet. Friendly staff, clean, cont. breakfast.We left a shirt in the room, and even though they said they looked, we did not get our shirt back.This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel in SLO. We were pleased the first trip. If our son ends up going to the University there next year, we will continue to stay here as long as it remains clean friendly.

They had a basket of apples on a coffee table in the lobby for everyone to enjoy. There was a computer in the lobby for complimentary use.We could smell the residue of carpet cleaner even after leaving the window open. The hot tub was not clean.For a two star hotel it was satisfactory; however your rating led me to believe that it would be much nicer than some of the other two star hotels available. After checking, we found this wasn't the case.

This hotel is convenient to Cal Poly Slo and downtown. Both the bath linens and the bed linens were great.The floor above us creaked all night.
