Location Description: Steps away from historic Santa Fe Plaza on Washington Ave. in Santa Fe, and a quick 50 minutes north of Albuquerque via I-25, near the finest in world-class shopping and dining, over 200 art galleries, numerous museums, as well as many wonderful historic sites of interest. Santa Fe Airport: 14 mi/22.5 km, 18 minutes.
Driving Directions: From Albuquerque Intl Sunport/ABQ - Take Sunport Blvd. to I-25 North. Follow I-25 North approximately 60 miles to Santa Fe and Exit on Old Pecos Trail North, which is Exit 284. Turn left after exiting, and go through 3 stoplights and turn right which will still be Old Pecos Trail. At the Paseo de Peralta intersection turn right and continue to the Marcy Street intersection. Turn left at the stop sign onto Marcy St. and go to Washington Ave., and turn left. The Hotel Plaza Real in on the Left, the second building down. Turn left on Nusbaum street and then right into the underground parking underneath the Hotel Plaza Real. Parking is available at a cost of 13.00 USD per day. Prices are subject to change at any time.
Room was dark, not really clean, old linens and very small.
Our room was not ready to be occupied by 3:00 p.m. and we were forced to wait while the staff "touched up" the room. When we finally did go to our room it was not all that clean.

Location! Friendly, helpful staff. Very nice rooms.

I chose this hotel based on location. I was not disappointed. I would definitely stay at the Hotel Plaza Real again.

Location to Old Town Square.
No Air condition until May. Windows opened to street. Some windows did not have screens.
The Hotel was in a great location and the stay could have been excellent. However, it was hot and they do not turn on the air condition until sometime in May. No ceiling fans. Windows had to be opened for air and not a very safe felling. I strongly urge a...Read More

Ok, generally. Great location. Disappointing accommodations. Not as "sharp" as it should have been.
Location to the square.
