It was in a great location that enabled us to walk around Santa Fe.The heating system did not work for the 2nd night and could not be fixed. TV had very few channels and was old.The hotel was convenient to downtown Santa Fe. The hotel staff could have been more helpful, especially when we were checking in. The TV service was terrible. Location.Overall look of room was that it needed new carpet, paint, bedding, upholstering for chair.This was the only disappointing stay of our trip. They really need to invest in the property. Also, there is a large parking lot and very few cars in it.

Convenience to the plaza.Walls were thin.My experience with Desert Inn was very pleasant. My family enjoyed breakfast on the premises, then a very short walk to the plaza. Overall, a very nice experience.
