Our hotel is just minutes from all the attractions Seaside and Cannon Beach have to offer. We are eight blocks from the beach and the quaint downtown shops and restaurant and across the street from the Seaside golf course. Seaside Civic and Convention Center is just over 1 mile away. You can count on the comfort and quality Microtel has been recognized for by J.D. Power and Associates for 10 straight years, but at a rate far more reasonable than beachfront or convention center hotels. Rise and Shine to Free Continental Breakfast with Added Value Menu. We provide free passes to the local Fitness and Aquatic Center just 1 mile away. Facilities include large spa pool and 25 yard lap pool with water slide, rope swing and rock climbing wall. Fitness Center includes cardio equipment and free weights. We will even loan you a pool towel. Ask about our Stay and Play late checkout program. Allows 1/2 day to explore, shop or go to the beach. The staff was very friendly.
The first room we were in had a door that didn't lock at all.

The helpful and cheerful young man staffing the front desk on the night shift.
The unhelpful woman staffing the front desk during the day, and the paper-thin walls.
Not the best deal around. The walls were so thin you could almost hear the the folks in the next room breathe. The room was smelly and had little room to move around. The bathroom was also very small.

I've stayed in plenty of one star motels/hotels before, but this particular stay was horrible. The toilet was broken, the air conditioning was broken and the cleanliness of the room was disgusting. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Was very clean, good breakfast, and good parking.
Room was very small, had one chair. AM clerk was unfriendly.
For the price it was okay, shopping areas were not too far, close to very good restaurant's, we would not stay there again though, the room's are way too small.

The room was horrible small, the breakfast was horrible, it seemed like all the vending machines were broken, just not a very good place to stay.
I am happy we had enough to do that we didn't have to stay in the room for very long.
