Hotel Description:
Merryton Inn accommodations include continental breakfast, outdoor pool, guest laundry, 24-hour front desk and fax services at the front desk. The Merryton Inn also has meeting room facilities that will accommodate up to 60 people. We have a lounge on property with video poker, pool, darts, and karaoke on Friday nights. Our rooms come equipped with queen size beds, blow dryers, clock radios, and mini-fridges. We also provide wireless Internet and expanded cable channels for our guests. Merryton Inn is conveniently located just two blocks south of Interstate 20 at the Monkhouse Dr./Airport Exit. Please note, our front desk is open 24 hours. Housekeeping services from 9am-2pm, no additional fee for service. Check-in is at 1pm and check-out is at 11am. Please have a copy of your hotel registration and a photo ID at time of check-in. If you are arriving late, our Front Desk is open 24 hours for your convenience. Shreveport is in the northwest portion of Louisiana. It is a unique city that mixes creole and cowboy culture. Shreveport is an excellent getaway with several casinos, many unique annual festivals, a vibrant music scene, and fantastic shopping. Shreveport has something for everyone.

Ease of access from interstate highway.

Free wireless internet.Dirty and loud.One of our pillows smelled like cat urine, the bathtub was dirty, the walls were paper thin and the other guests were very loud, the bed was uncomfortable, and the continental breakfast consisted of white bread and glazed donuts.

The karaoke bar was amazing and so much fun.The neighborhood seems dangerous and the halls smelled like pee.I was pretty scared to go to this hotel after reading all the reviews, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Close to airport.Old, grimy, uncomfortable mattress, worn-out.This hotel looks like nothing has changed since the 1980's! Everything was very outdated, dark, Narrow hallway, etc. It wasn't crawling with cockroaches or anything, but if given a choice. I wouldn't stay there again.

Convenient location for the occasion of the trip.Toilet ran constantly, no mattress pad, pillows (not covers) were dirty, dirt and bloody rags in stairwell for 2 days.Have always enjoyed super 8 motel stays. This gives a whole new meaning to look elsewhere. Came real close to canceling and looking elsewhere after we saw the room, but didn't have time so we felt we were stuck.

Highway access.Did not feel the comfort of home.The non-smoking rooms that we ordered were not clean, and also reeked of smoke. When informed staff of our displeasure they showed very little compassion for our situation.
