The Golden Eagle Resort is ideally located on 80 scenic acres at the edge of Stowe Village. Our location is spacious & private, yet an easy walk to restaurants, shops, cinema & the famous Stowe Recreation Path. Explore trails in our nature preserve, enjoy indoor & outdoor swimming pools, game room, fitness center, tennis, playground, & fishing in stocked trout ponds. Children's programs are offered mid-June through August. We offer a wide range of accommodations that includes comfortable guest rooms, spacious suites & apartments, & romantic mini-suites with fireplace & whirlbath. Our Colonial Cafe serves a delicious full breakfast each morning, and the Partridge Inn offers fine dining nightly. AAA 3-diamond, Mobil 3-star. Friendly staff and nice facilities. Really nice and comfortable bed.Small room and small bathroom motel-like.Overall, I would definitely stay here again but be warned. This is not a Resort as stated in the hotel name. I would actually say it is a Motel-Resort because it has motel-like rooms but resort like facilities otherwise. The hiking trails were great - but pay attention to the map - easy to get lost.There was nothing we didn't like. It was a peaceful, natural setting. Very nice.Very nice facility. Beautiful, spacious grounds. Nice little restaurant for breakfast. Over 2 mile of wooded, mountain hiking trails. Clean room, comfortable bed. We would go back again.

The proximity af the activities and the amenities at the hotel.for a 3 stars hotel I cannot say much; it was what I expected.This a good hotel for families; there a lot to do at the hotel.

Green, quiet setting with good family facilities.Paying an extra $10, per night for using a crib.Green, child friendly setting with playground, indoor and outdoor pool. Cozy and perfect breakfast and breakfast location and for hotel guests no-hassle payment: name and room number.

Lots to do with family.Motel-like.Very friendly staff, located in a mountain resort area. Rooms are very spacious, but more motel-like than hotel (drive up and park outside the door).
