Al Mathlothah: Tip: Experience traditional Saudi dining rooms: sit on the floor, eat with your right hand and share plates. Famous traditional Saudi dishes such as kapsa - meat, rice, cinnamon, lime and cardamom.
Al Qarmoushi: Tip: Try the popular dish for breakfast, foul medams - chick peas. A typical local venue for breakfast.

Ahllan Washlan: Tip: Try their tasty desserts and fruit dishes with honey. A modern Turkish restaurant in the heart of the city with impressive views over the town.
China Pearl: Tip: The one restaurant you shouldn't miss while you're in Taif. This unusual, colourful Chinese restaurant feels a world away from Saudi Arabia. Has a comfortable family section.
Romanah: Tip: Romanah means pomegranate in Arabic. This Lebanese restaurant is famous for delicious barbecued meat dishes: kabab and koftah. If you try their desserts you'll want to go back for more.
