Guests have the unique ability to choose the color of their room that corresponds to their individual mood. Inspired by the class and elegance that made Hotel Duval a prominent gathering place more than 50 years ago, the newly renovated rooms and common areas incorporate both contemporary and natural elements. The guest rooms, located between the second and sixth floors, are 375 square feet and contain either two double beds or a queen bed. Oversized and well appointed suites are located on each of the guestroom floors and range in size from 650 to 900 square feet. All of the rooms have views of Tallahassee, iPod docking stations, wireless internet and 37-inch flat screen TVs. The spacious bathrooms provide a perfect start to the day with rain maker showerheads, suspended glass vanities, pebbled shower floors and Bath and Body Works amenities. Luxuriously appointed suites feature mini kitchenettes with a sink, refrigerator and microwave. The hotel?s unique interior design follows a color theory based on mood and emotion. Designer Catherine D. Baker turned each floor into its own color-themed paradise intended to stimulate the mind, body and senses of the guests. Guests can decide how they want to feel according to the themes of Refreshing Blues, Uplifting Yellows, Energizing Citrus, Exhilarating Reds, Peaceful Neutrals, and Serene Greens. In addition, the hotel features Shula?s 347 Steakhouse, Shula?s 347 Steakhouse, part of the growing family of Shula?s legendary steakhouses is the hotel?s signature dining venue.
