It has just twenty Lodge Rooms, tucked along the riverbank for privacy, and nestled amongst the trees. The recently refurbished Owners Cottage luxuriously accommodates an additional eight guests. Huka Lodge cuisine is outstanding and showcases the best of New Zealands food and wine. Meals are table dhote and feature the freshest premium of New Zealand produce. Dining venues at Huka Lodge are varied and deliberately romantic. The terrace or the library, the Trophy Room, the Wine Cellar, the Riverbank, and the fabulous outdoor fireplaces provide an elegant setting for intimate Dining or for that special Corporate Retreat. The Trophy Room is also available for small business meetings or planning sessions offering privacy within an atmosphere of relaxation and quiet. Recreational opportunities are numerous within the magnificent scenery of the surrounding area. Wairakei International Golf Course is just a five-minute drive from Huka Lodge and a great favourite with the guests. Lake Taupo provides a perfect venue for aquatic activities such as swimming, sailing, waterskiing, jet skiing and fishing for Rainbow Trout. For the most unique trip try a helicopter flight to White Island, an active volcano. Within the idyllic grounds guests are welcome to play tennis, croquet, petanque or soak in the spa pools. The tariff at Huka Lodge is inclusive of accommodation, pre-dinner drinks, a superb five-course gourmet dinner, country style breakfast, use of all Huka Lodge facilities and Taupo airport transfers should they be required.

Location Description:
Huka Lodge is located on the banks of the Waikato River which is the only river flowing out of Lake Taupo and about 500 meters above the famous Huka Falls in the center of the North Island of New Zealand. The hotel is about a 3 hours drive from Auckland or a 1 hour plane or helicopter ride from Auckland. The hotel is about a 1 hour drive from Rotorua.
