Overall Rating:
North star needs to differentiate between the different quality facilities they have available. I probably will not come back because even if reservations say it is better, I wouldn't be sure.

Almost all businesses closed too early. No air conditioning. Our sons would like to come back during the ski season.

North Star at Tahoe exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a 1 bed room condo with a gas log fire place. There was no reason to leave the resort. The skiing is great with shuttles from condo to slopes every 20 minutes.

This is a resort. One rents privately owned condos in small buildings. The setting is gorgeous but not especially convenient to neighboring communities.

Hotel is in a great setting. Suites provided a nice kitchenette with full cookware. Construction was going on but wasn't too bad. No place to buy groceries except for town 6 to 8 miles away.
