The Chalkboard restaurant has been a part of Tulsa's history since the 1970s and as a part of a multimillion dollar renovation the new and improved Chalkboard restaurant arrived in the spring of 1999. The interior of The Chalkboard has changed from those early years. The restaurant now sports a fairly open kitchen for glimpses of the chefs creating dishes that please the senses. Driving Directions: From Tulsa International Airport take HWY 11 West and follow the signs to I-75 South. Take I-75 South into Downtown and exit the 7th Street Exit. Follow 7th Street West turing left on Main Street. Proceed South on Main Street to 14th Street. The Hotel Ambassador is located on the right hand side at the corner of 14th and Main Streets. From Bartlesville (North HWY 75) Take I-75 South into Downtown and exit the 7th Street Exit. Follow 7th Street West turing left on Main Street. Proceed South on Main Street to 14th Street. Exit left onto I-75 South, then quickly merge right to take the 7th Street Exit. Follow 7th Street West to Main Street and turn left. Proceed South on Main Street to 14th. The Hotel Ambassador is on the right at the corner of 14th and Main Streets. From Sand Springs/Stillwater/Enid/Wichita (West HWY 412/I-244) Follow HWY 412 to I-244 East into Downtown Tulsa.
