With 3 active Volcanos the Tongariro National Park offers some unique scenery with Alpine & Volcanic views. Central North Island - 4 hours south to Wellington & 4 hours North to Auckland. A great Central base location to explore the North Island. The Tongariro Crossing shuttle leaves our reception daily. The Tongariro Crossing is known as the best one day walk in New Zealand. The Tongariro River, which is world famous for fly fishing, is just a couple of minutes walk away.
