Perfectly located in the heart of Colorado's celebrated Vail Mountain Village, the Austria Haus is situated next to the Covered Bridge on the banks of the beautiful Gore Creek, just steps away from the Vista Bahn chair lift and the numerous shops, restaurants, and outdoor venues of the pedestrian Village. Built in 1998, our lovely boutique hotel carries a prestigious first place awards for International resort architecture and design as well as the highest platinum ratings from the Vail Valley Tourism and Convention Bureau. Austria Haus Hotel greets you with a centuries old European tradition of excellence in guest service, hospitality, and amenities. Our graciously appointed lodging accommodations include 25 valley view guestrooms and suites, each invoking a feeling of mountain elegance. All feature natural wood, hand-troweled plaster walls, coffered ceilings with antiqued brass fans, and custom designed furniture, fabrics and artwork in warm earth tones. In each bathroom you'll enjoy heated marble floors and large vanities with unique cosmetic lighting. Some rooms also include gas-log fireplaces, step-out or French balconies, and air-conditioning, or you may choose from a combination of these features. Guests also enjoy complimentary continental breakfast featuring fresh-baked pastries and breads, seasonal fruits, and hot and cold cereals; award winning dining at The Lodge at Vail and complimentary slopeside ski storage, local transportation and Monday night cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Please Note: Vail Resorts Lodging Company is proud to support the National Forest Foundation. As part of this initiative, a voluntary donation of $1 per room for each night of your stay will automatically be added to your bill. If you do not wish to make this contribution, simply let the front desk staff know and it will be removed. There will be $30.00 Resort Fee per day which includes parking, Internet access, fitness center access and other services and amenities.
