Welcome to the Knights Inn of Staunton/Verona, Virginia. Located in the Beautiful Shenandoah Valley just off I-81 between Staunton 3 miles and Harrisonburg 20miles. The Knights Inn is within 10 miles of Waynesboro and only 8 miles from the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport. The Beautiful Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive are also very near. This hotel also offers easy access to The Birthplace of Woodrow Wilson, the Woodrow Wilson Library, and the Museum of Frontier Culture. It was the only hotel to stay in at the time.The staff is hard to understand. They hike up the rates.The staffs accent is to hard to understand. There is to little parking for the number of rooms they have. And being a firefighter I did not see enough access to escape from the second story, which I was on, in case of an emergency.

Location.Minimum compliance for rating.Motel obviously on downslide. Littered premises, dirty windows, continental breakfast consists of watery coffee and juice and packaged pastries.

Front desk clerk was very welcoming and friendly.Room smelled of rank, stale smoke.A tired motel with ugly brown plastic wood furniture, bargain quality mattresses, stained, smelly carpeting, and an air conditioner as loud as a lawn mower.

The closeness to the event I was attending for the week-end.The shower head was to low for me. I'm 6'5" need to raise 4-5".Nice rooms with iron and board and close to interstate road. Very nice pool and through close to interstate road it was very quite. I would stay again if they raise there shower heads.

The location.Not very clean any hair dryer or coffee pot.We were told that there were hair dryers and a coffee pot in the room and there was not. The carpet needed cleaned and the bathroom also.

The pool.The bed was to hardVery nice for the price. Pretty view of the mountains and the pool from my room.
