The Dolphin Inn is a small boutique hotel located in the heart of the boardwalk adjacent to the 17th Street Stage and walking distance to shopping restaurants and nightlife. All our delightfully chic suites feature private oceanfront balconies and open airy decor that compliments the glistening ocean view. The two room suites sleep up to six and feature a kitchenette with microwave refrigerator and coffee maker and a 4foot into 5foot Jacuzzi tub. Additional onsite amenities include a rooftop greenhouse pool and laundry facilities. For casual oceanfront dining the RockFish Bar and Grill is located next door adjacent to the Boardwalk Resort and features fresh seafood specialties and kid-friendly favorites. Located close to major area attractions restaurants and shops every large guest suite at the Dolphin Inn has great ocean views with private balconies overlooking the Boardwalk and ocean. Located on the Virginia Beach Resort Strip Dolphin Inn on the Ocean is just steps from the ocean. In addition to a great location the Dolphin Inn also offers a heated rooftop pool sundeck guest laundry and complimentary parking.

Convenience to beach/boardwalk, location, laid-back atmosphere.
N/ADecor reminding me of the 70's. I would think it would be a good hotel for spring breakers, or family vacations as well as romantic get-a-ways.

Great location.Parking and safe charge.The location is great, the staff is friendly and helpful. I didn't like the hotel tacked on an extra safe charge of $1 day. Staff was friendly and helpful very impressive.Parking was less than desirable.We had an issue with the parking which was very limited; staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was very refreshing; the ocean view was wonderful and the Jacuzzi was relaxing. Thanks for a wonderful weekend of memories.

Location.Dirt.This hotel needs some real good cleaning all over, like dried food on the railing and the door glass was filthy.

The oceanfront view was fantastic.The toilet ran all the time.For a two-star hotel, I was pleasantly surprised.

The location.Hall to small, wind blew around the doors all night and make too much noise.The hotel was alright, but it was old and you had to pay for a safe whether or not if you wanted it. They need to fix their door. The draft of wind very strong.

I loved the views they where great. We had a wonderful time and hope to return there soon.They where building right next to the hotel and it was a little loud.I would stay there again any day the staff was great and very nice. We had great views and a nice size room perfect for family or just the two. Great location hopes to return soon.

Fantastic view, very spacious, many amenities.You can only bring one car, they do not have parking, you will have to park extra vehicles at a nearby parking garage.I enjoyed my stay at the Dolphin Inn. The front desk did not expand on what all the hotel had to offer (like the indoor pool upstairs), but I had a fantastic time!
