The River Inn, newly renovated in the Spring of 2003, is uniquely nestled among a row of Grand Old Townhouses in historic Foggy Bottom one of Washington*s premier neighborhoods. Each of our suites, decorated in contemporary earth tones and oversized pieces, offer the perfect retreat at the end of your day. Each room has a fully equipped kitchen with marble floor, a living area with a wall of windows overlooking the city with river views, a pull out sleeper sofa if needed, and various bedding arrangements in each suite. Our one bedroom suites feature complimentary highspeed internet access while our Corporate Suites have dataports or Web TV available.

Restaurants: Our new restaurant Dish, located just off the lobby, offers a neo - traditional menu thats Eisenhower food with a Camelot style. Dish restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner seven days a week and serves lunch Monday through Friday. A full American breakfast is served Monday through Friday as well. Room service and catering services are also available. Hours of Operation: Breakfast 0700-1000 Lunch 1130-1400 Dinner 1700-2200Meeting Facilities:
Meeting & Conference Facilities: All meeting rooms are located on the first floor of the hotel with windows that open. Our largest conference room holds up to 35 conference style and 30 people banquet style. Our two boardrooms hold up to 14 people Boardroom Style. Our meetings include complimentary continental breakfast, AM and PM breaks. The PM break includes assorted sodas, cookies, and coffee. Close to public train transportation; clean enough with kitchen!Bathroom and kitchen a little older.Great hotel for value. Kitchen and bathrooms were a little older but all was functioning. Very stylish and great view of the area through the extra large window.

Great location in the heart of DC.The evening desk clerk was brusque.Nice place, nice rooms, great location, clean, friendly staff in the bar/restaurant. Evening desk clerk was not terribly helpful and had a curt demeanor. It was kind of pricey but it was DC in season.

Convertible couch/bed and full kitchen adjacent to main room with fresh coffee beans!Asked for help at front desk to lock the safe when I arrived and no one ever came.Overall a favorite hotel in the area, great location, comfortable room, fabulous restaurant!

Spacious room, coffee beans in kitchen, comfortable bed.Trouble at check in.Check in was not pleasant. I confirmed a smoking room twice (the last time the day before my arrival). Location.Once the room was not made up very early in the day.The staff was very helpful and nice, had to replace the hair dryer and did so promptly.
