Designed by noted 20th Century architect, William Lee Stoddart, The George Washington is a unique hotel among the drab white cookie-cutter hotels in the Washington Pennsylvania marketplace. Our main dining room is surrounded by the largest example of noted American Artist Malcolm Purcell. The mural depicts life on the National Road from the late 1700s to the 1840s.
