Hotel Description:
The Pride of Super 8 Wausau is conveniently located off of Hwy 51/I-39 on Wausaus west side, within 5 mi of all major attractions and with many restaurants within walking distance. The property features a newly renovated and expanded breakfast area which offers Super Start Breakfast that includes Sausage gravy Biscuits and Hard boiled eggs. Also available at the property is a 24 hour indoor heated pool and whirlpool, an exercise room and guest laundry. While staying at the hotel enjoy such amenities as free High Speed Wireless Internet, coffee makers, 27 inch TVs with Cable and premium channels and refrigerators in all rooms. Recently we have remodeled all our rooms with new pillow top mattress, new case goods and new tiles in all our bathrooms. Pets allowed with a fee of 10 USD per night.

They had the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on and I liked that the mirror and sink were outside the bathroom.The customer service level was way below par and the employees were rude at times (before we got there).The hotel was nice and clean. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Two weeks before the stay I tried to upgrade my room to two double beds and it was a nightmare.

Evening clerk was very friendly and nice.We weren't sure about the cleanliness of the bed linens.Convenient location off of a major highway. Friendly staff. Adequate breakfast.

The pool and hot tub were pleasant and relaxing.We were given a double bed (for 2 people) and the smoke-free room smelled like smoke.My wife and I would not return to this hotel. We were disappointed with the small bed and the smell of the room.
