Two of golf's greatest course architects claim two of Virginia's premier golf courses among their finest designs. The Golden Horseshoe Golf Club of Colonial Williamsburg is home to the Robert Trent Jones, Sr. - designed Gold Course and the Rees Jones-designed Green Course. The two courses and the nine-hole executive Spotswood Course are surrounded by mature forest and ravines and feature full-services restaurants. Including: Indoor Swimming Pool, Whirlpools and Sauna all closed Effective March 27, 2004 - a temporary fitness room will be available to hotel guests in Providence Hall, Wing B, lower level - 50 feet away from Williamsburg Inn. Guests will have access to: Fitness Room with exercise equipment 2 Outdoor Swimming Pools Massage JANUARY 2006 - a brand new state-of-the-art "Tazewell Fitness Center" will re-open in a newly constructed building adjacent to the Williamsburg Inn.
